Showdown in the North Atlantic

Promotional poster for Showdown in the North Atlantic - a  Backhold & Collar and Elbow competition (traditional Irish wrestling styles) hosted by The Hero with a Thousand Holds & BJJ Globetrotters. The poster includes custom textures for the background and shield, created both digitally and through photo manipulation. The text above the ram’s is an old Faroese proverb which means, "He who risks nothing, wins nothing".

A variation of the design was also used on front of the medal for the competition champions.

Client Experiences

I've worked with Sabine on two separate projects - a logo and a book cover - and have been immensely satisfied with the results both times. Sabine was always very responsive to my initial ideas, and her suggestions and improvements drove the projects exactly where I wanted them to go. Even with an 8-hr time difference between our locations, communication was quick and efficient. I would eagerly work with her again on any future design projects I have in mind.
