Training Room Escape and Case of the Mystery Images are online interactive "escape the room" style games about the scientific method for K-12 audiances. These are part of a larger online lesson about the scientific method created for Arizona State University's Ask A Biologist. These games are fully functional on mobile and tablet devices, and compliant with all modern W3 standards of web development.

More About Training Room Escape

This game teaches players the basic steps of the scientific method. The player takes the role of a detective in training locked inside a dark room. They must use their problem solving skills to investigate the environment, find clues, and discover how to escape. In doing so, the user follows the steps of the scientific method.

More About Case of the Mystery Images

This game is the sequel to the Training Room Escape and follows a similar format of exploring an environment searching for clues. Case of the Mystery Images game takes a more in-depth look at the steps in the scientific method, specifically formatting good questions and hypothesis. The user is presented with a series of mysterious images, and must formulate questions and hypothesis based on their observations.
